It is an unfortunate fact that overweight teenagers usually grow into overweight adults. These conditions are now affecting people of increasingly younger age groups. Almost all teens go through the stage of needing acceptance from their contemporaries, however if they are overweight this is going to be difficult. The best way to proceed is by education, both for the parents and the teen so that losing fat is the prime concern as losing excess weight will follow.
