The active ingredient in 99.999% of all weight loss supplements is the same: caffeine. There are a few other proven supplements for weight loss (synephrine, ephedra, green tea, garlic) but realize that they will not lose the weight FOR you. Here’s a rule to remember: if your diet is already working, a pill can help it work better. If your diet is NOT working, no pill will ever make it work.

Caffeine does help mobilize fat to be burned off as energy though. It also increases blood flow to the muscles. This is why it helps burn fat.

Pills do far more than curb your appetite. They increase REE, stimulate production of lipolytic catacholamines, sensitize beta receptorcites, can shift preferable fuel sources from carbs to fats, and can block the absorption of certain macronutrients OR can block their conversion to fat.

I take “HOT ROX”. I don’t think they burn fat off me, but they do provide me with a nice pick me up that gets me to the gym. In that sense, the pills work.
