I have read a few different things about this recently, good and bad and just wondered if anyone had an personal experice of the berries working for weight loss, general health improvement?

    My wife has tried most things to lose weight but nothing has worked quite as good as the wu yi tea that she drinks, it’s been covered on CNN and Fox News. She shed 9 pounds in four weeks.     Personally I think Acai Berries are just a gimmicky trend.. If you really want to lose weight, may I suggest hot green tea every day? You should drink a 16 oz cup three times a day. Green tea increases metabolizing rate quite a lot. I know someone who lost 20 lbs in 10 months with this diet.. But they were very consistent and disciplined.

    Eat a good, balanced diet that comprises less calories and fat than you burn.

    There is a reason why people love food that is bad for you. They taste great. However, there is a lot of good food that tastes good too. Honestly, nothing will every taste as good as (insert your favourite ‘bad’ food)… you just have to learn to live with that. Either eat the good food, and learn to enjoy it, or be overweight… you can’t have both.

    you can try what a co-worker of mine tried its called One Week Diet she lost 8 pounds in literally a week. Actually it was less than a week. go to NutrinaDirect.com and get some info on it.

    I haven’t tried them, but am looking to learn more about them. That tea (not the green tea, but the fad stuff) I don’t trust b/c they pay their models and they say you can talk to a live agent, but it is just a bot. I am doing cinnamon pills. I just got them at walmart. No brand name or anything fancy. They help regulate blood sugar spikes and help target the insulin resistant belly fat. They really do work, though not as fast as most the “diet” things claim to. If you can do it, you can just eat 2 TBLS of cinnamon a day. There is real proof that this works. Google it!

    I’ve been using acai berry products for a couple of months now and I’ve noticed that yes they do work. I used them when I wanted to trim off about 15lbs.

    I knew that diet and exercise alone would help achieve that goal alone but I needed something to help me with my mid afternoon snacking urges. This is where I found the acai berry really helped me.

    It helped to curb those mid afternoon urges which meant when I went out jogging later that night I wasn’t just jogging to work off that bag of Doritios I snacked on around 3pm instead I was actually working off the weight I wanted..

    After a couple months I now no longer needed the supplements and can manage my weight more easily, so I found that yes they really did help speed up my weight loss goals when I used them along with a diet and exercise program, as the berries gave me more energy and helped to curb my appetite

    Acai berry works… but it is even more potent with a combination of white tea.
    White tea has alot of antioxidants that help increase the metabolism rate leading to almost auto weight loss.
    There is no natural supplement exisiting such as white tea and acai berry.
    I know…ive tried!
    Coupled with a little bit of exercise…you have an awesome chance of losing fast weight!

    I raised a questions here for weight loss before 4 weeks. i got suggestions from people that Proactol is good.     The simple answer is Yes, Acai is beneficial to slimming and packs quite a punch in the overall health department.

    As with almost anything in life there will be good products and bad, all falling under the same category.

    As an overall health tonic, the Acai berry is in a class of it’s own. Antioxidants, Amino Acids, Omegas, Dietary Fiber. It’s a total health blast.

    For weight loss, the points to look out for are the Amino Acids, Omegas and Fiber. These combine to speed up your metabolism and keep hunger pangs at bay for longer.

    Keep in mind that the goodness in the berries comes from the pulp. The pulp of an Acai berry is only around 20% of the total. The rest is seeds which have no healthy compounds.

    It’s important to use Acai products made from freeze dried pulp. The berries deteriorate quite quickly after picking.

    Also important to note is the actual quantity of Acai pulp extract in the products on sale. How many actually mention the amount of Acai pulp extract they contain?

    I could only find one. A full 50mg of freeze dried Acai extract with added Green Tea Extract.
