I’ve been doing this kind of fasting to get a closer relationship with Adonai – didn’t have weightloss in mind & didn’t know it was in an ebook!

  • Seedcovers says:

Its okay, you can still use it to glorify God. It is nothing new. People have fasted for centuries i am sure.

  • GotChutzpah says:

I started doing this “intermittant” fasting a couple weeks ago not realizeing I was following someones “ebook idea!”

  • hislivingsacrifice says:

You’re right…it’s not a faith based book, but I apply my faith and trust God to see me through my fasting periods. I have decided to post a weekly weigh-in because I joined a One Pound A Week Challenge here on YouTube. One pound a weeks is healthy and reasonable goal.

I am doing a lot of intermittent fasting and i do not get on the scale much, because it does me no good. Ohhh yea and I read the ebook already. He doesnt talk much about religion, but i use it the way I want to use it.

ARGH! I’ve been trying to get in touch with (looks over both shoulders first & whispers) my “supplier” ಠ_ಠ … these people all need to be fired! lol Seriously, their communication leaves MUCH to be desired. I know its only 4 hrs north of here, but I cant find out what day it’ll be here to save my life! “Incompetence” shouldn’t be a company trademark yanno ಠ_ಠ
    OYE!

  • hislivingsacrifice says:

I’m laughing so hard I have tears in my eyes!!!!

  • hislivingsacrifice says:

Oh and you do realize you won’t need as much of the “white” stuff once you have even less body mass ;-)

  • hislivingsacrifice says:

Lol, LOL..that’s too funny!!! What ever works, right?? ;-)

  • ThisIsMySockAccount says:

ಠ_ಠ … okay, you just made me look like my heavy drug trafficking & usage is my weight control plan! .. ROFL! No, not here yet :o ( .. I’m waiting for a call. I’m guessing tomorrow or Thursday. (sigh)

Non-scale victories like clothes fitting better or looser are just as important if not more so than scale victories!!

  • hislivingsacrifice says:

Gotta love those goal pants!!! Congrats on your weight loss success. Did your “white” package arrive??

  • hislivingsacrifice says:

Yes, photos AND one pound a week. Make sure you take photos right now as we begin the 1PAW Challenge.

  • hislivingsacrifice says:

Hubby was shocked when he saw that image and said your exact word, “WOW”.

  • hislivingsacrifice says:

I agree. I’m going to weigh in weekly for the 1PAW (1 pound a week) Challenge. Hope you have a great Intermittent Fasting week!

  • Bonnie90505 says:

I lose inches before pounds, and I am find with that. when the clothes starts fitting looser, that is an victory,

  • ThisIsMySockAccount says:

Tape measure on the same day every two weeks. ;o) If you up your work out, youre going to gain muscle weight, even though you may have lost a couple of pounds of fat. I weigh, but it doesnt mean much. I keep a measuring chart & of course, I buy another pair of “goal pants” whenever I can wear the last ones. =o)

I think photos are the best way to see where we are… I like at that photo I put in my last video and think (wow.. I didn’t realize I was that close).. I should have been paying more attention to the photos.. and will from now on.

    That.. and.. 1 lb a week :)

  • GotChutzpah says:

WOW!! The success is in the proof with those pics!!

  • phatpinoyboy09 says:

I would go by the visuals more rather than scale but each piece of feedback is important.

  • hislivingsacrifice says:

Rock on Pastor G, that’s an incredible transformation in size and weight. You look much younger in the shape you’re in now. Isn’t it amazing how weight ages one??
