It’s so true. Anytime we go against the dieting ‘norm’ pressure is applied to conform and we are told how unhealthy it is. If God created our bodies and our bodies are not hungry then why should we feed it? Gluttony!

POWERFUL…great points Paula. I totally connected to this video.

You are absolutely right. I actually do the alternate day verison of 36:12. It’s easier for me because when people want to eat out I have no problem doing so on refeed days, at almost anytime of the day. On days I am fasting (Su, T, Th) if someone invites me out I just decline and suggest one of my refeed days (M,W,F,Sa). People see me eating so no one bugs me. It’s working for me and I feel good so I’m gonna keep at it. Best of luck!

That’s great, stay on the track that you’ve put yourself on. You choose what you will do with your body–you choose what you feel is best. ,Tthere will always be a number of people who will disagree with you.

When I went through a phase of making really healthy food choices back in 2007, college roommates often criticized me. They told me I needed to “live my life” instead of being so careful with eating.

Stay focused on the path you’ve chosen for yourself. You’re an inspiration. :)

this is so interesting..thanks for this!

You have to go against the grain to eat right. If you think about it, social pressure is what gets us in a bunch of different areas. God speed!

@hislivingsacrifice The best name brand i know for natural vitamins has always been ‘Nature Made’… Good stuff. My Ma was always taking that when i was growing up and well the name brand is well known and trusted. Quality stuff. But natural vitamins can also mean orange, grape, apple and so on. juice. One of the better ways to get vitamins. Then of course vitamins and essential proteins in your meals in the food choices themselves.

I am doing well, hope you & yours are as wel

    God Bless

    Hi There,
I just told a friend today about my intermittent fasting and she was ‘concerned’ she said it sounded ‘extreme’. Yikes. I just said, ‘oh well, not for you I guess’ I am quite happy with this way of life though. I will do a video soon on my feeling about intermittent fasting. all the best to you and your family. Your doing great!

We dont have time to experience hunger with all the eating we do. I never get hungry until I actually fast and give my body a rest.
I take that time to talk to the Lord and sing songs of praise.

  • hislivingsacrifice says:

Thanks! I need to do better taking vitamins…natural ones. Can you recommend some? It’s nice to know other people like you who have success with intermittent fasting.

Hope you and yours are doing well.

  • 2222554 says:

Good job on holding your ground over this matter Paula. There is no chance of a metabolic deficiency if you get in the habit of talking your ‘natural’ vitamins. Not those pharmaceutical ones…

You’re so right. It seems that most social functions center around food…at least in my neck of the woods. Hope your week is going well.

  • phatpinoyboy09 says:

Social pressure seems to be one of the top causes of overeating & obesity. Great insights & keep up the good work.

  • hislivingsacrifice says:

    Thank you! ((hugs))

  • hislivingsacrifice says:

If you read Dr. Herring’s ebook he discusses doing exactly what you did today. Just take it slow and easy and push your normal BREAK-fast time to late morning or lunch. You know why I call this “practicing” intermittent fasting, because it takes practice. I have good days and bad…some days I eat more than I should, like tonight (lol).

  • yelserp2 says:

oh yes, I did too, thanks for pointing that out!

  • hislivingsacrifice says:

Feel free to share your concerns. I appreciate you wishing me well. ((hugs))

  • Elizabeth01010101 says:

I am inspired by you and your determination not to conform. I agree with you about the pressure we are under too. I thought of you all day because I tried to do the intermittent fasting. I only made it till 11am then started eating everything in site. Oh well, maybe tomorrow I will try to make it until 11:30.

  • hislivingsacrifice says:

    Thanks Daniel ((hugs)).

  • hislivingsacrifice says:
