I see the blond, looks like streaks from my view..pretty :)
And I agree, I would rather a slow and steady, consistent loss…a loss is a loss and I’ll take it…I’m climbing with you, you can’t get rid of me! lol

LOVE THE HAIR! I’ve never tried this intermittent fasting. For me, I just eat all day long. I dont eat “meals”, I keep my metabolism high by convincing my body that it eats constantly & never needs to store anything. It’s been working great for me so far. Food to me isnt a desire as much as it is a tool. I pre-plan what nutrients I need at what time of day, then eat something that contains those nutrients. Tons & tons of protein too, since Im weight training (muscle gain raises metabolism too)

I am definitely with you. We all have days where we don’t do what we know what we should. As you say the key is to get back on track and keep climbing. Also we shouldn’t beat ourselves up when we stumble, we are human.

Slow and steady wins the race, right?!

Thanks, persistence is a must. Even if I show a gain the scale Monday, I’m not quitting. Permanence, perseverance and persistence in spite of all obstacles, discouragement, and impossibilities: It is this, that in all things distinguishes the strong soul from the weak ~ Thomas Carlyle

Yeah, the color wasn’t too drastic of a change. I’m glad for honest friends like you. ((hugs))

  • Imskinnyinside says:

You are doing great because as you said you have been steady. That’s what counts! Persistence pays off.

  • msixpackabs says:

Paula, honestly, I don’t see the color difference but the hair looks great.
About intermittent fasting….Paula it is normal to have good bad days.
As a friend I would suggest yo to do what it makes you happy over a long term.

  • hislivingsacrifice says:

That’s a great test you and Dad are taking next week. I need to try that test some time. (((hugs)))

  • hislivingsacrifice says:

    Amen!

  • hislivingsacrifice says:

Will do PG. Congrats on the weight loss. I shared your testimony over being laid off work with Hubby last night and he was very impressed and praised the Lord. I’m keeping your job situation in prayer.

It’s a constant journey, not only a destination. Blessings!

  • Heidiscope says:

Me and my dad are having a self-control test next week-No coffee, dessert, biscuits, and we’re not allowed to eat 3 hours before we go to bed. That by the way loses weight fast. The first few days are hard but i’m getting used to it now. Don’t worry we all have slip ups but you just get back to it again and you’ll be fine or even have one day that’s a free day :-)

  • pastorgeorgec says:

Discipline sis do your fast over the weekend and stay focused – we don’t want no extra you on that scale next week.

BTW I am now down to 228 just lbs from goal!

Been a long journey from 293!

Thank you brother. You have been such an example of grace under attack and pressure. I’ve grown and believe God has given me the strength to finally stand on my own two feet and seek only to please Him. I thought it was important to share my “bad” days too. God is always there…good or bad. ((((Hugs)))

You can use velcro but I usually hold the camera in one hand and drive with the other, yikes. Not a good idea. Let’s make the most of our weekend.
