ok…so I’ve been going to the gym everyday for more than 2 weeks now, and doing cardio for like an hour but I haven’t really lost any weight…is that ok?
Can you please like give me a sample of a meal plan or something so I can lose weight?
I think I’m eating healthy, I just want to get different meal plans so I know I’m eating right, and can start losing weight…so please make a meal plan for me that will help me lose weight…….
Thank you sooooo much!
breakfast –
option 1 – yogurt with granola
option 2 – cereal with milk and a banana/fruit
lunch –
option 1 – turkey sandwich with veggies and hummus, milk
option 2 – bagel with 1 – 2 TBL peanut butter, juice
snack –
option 1 – string cheese and crackers
option 2 – trail mix
option 3 – banana/apple with peanut butter
Dinner
option 1 – veggie burger with lettuce/tomato, milk, fruit
option 2 – grilled chicken sandwich w/ lettuce/tomato and guac., milk, fruit
its also okay to have a small dessert everyday, like a cookie or a small brownie
Breakfast=
One glass of skim milk
One fresh fruit of your choice
small bowl of plain cornflakes or other low-fat cereal
Lunch=
Tuna, Grilled Chicken, or whole wheat pasta with tomato sauce
Salad without salad dressing or oil ( mustard, vinegar, low-fat cottage cheese, and oregano are good toppings to spruce up a salad)
One portion of steamed veggies
Unsweet tea, or water
Supper=
( supper should be your lightest meal because you won’t burn many more kcals before going to bed)
Tea or juice
small salad without salad dressing or oil ( one spoonful of salad dressing usually has about 3 times the calories and 5 times the fat of a whole salad so use something else to spruce it up)
Snacks=
one glass fruit juice
small portion pretzels
raw crunchy veggies
* You should only snack if you are very active and need the extra energy
*Don’t use butter. Stay away from chips, brownies, cookies, and other fatty or sugar-packed snacks
I’ve lost a lot of weight and kept it off for almost 2 years now not by fad dieting or diet pills but simply learning to have healthier eating habits as a general rule…
There are some foods that are healthy for you, but also have a lot of sugar. Like fruit. But don’t cut those out of your diet. There are a lot of snacks that have virtually no calories and that are really good for you. Like self popped (in a popcorn popper) unbuttered popcorn (each large bowl is about 10 calories altogether). There’s also:
watermelon
cucumber
celery
cauliflower
Plain toasted bagels and fruit for breakfast, a turkey sandwich or something for lunch, and a large salad with lots of ‘condiments’ (nuts, dressing, tomatoes, oranges, etc) for dinner.
