Thanks for your comment. I guess I didn’t state that intermittent fasting has drawn me closer to God.

YEEEEEEEES! Whatever you do as long as you are persistent and consistent you WILL lose weight. I love your videos. Like, I feel no reason to make videos. When someone ask questions I can just direct them to your videos. Stay beautiful and stay blessed!

Yes, “plan B” has made all the difference in the world to me. I wish I had some catching up to do on your video…hint, hint :0)

  • ThisIsMySockAccount says:

Can you tell Im playing video catch-up today? lol
Sounds like you had a satisfying day. I think its great to have a flexible schedule (so to speak) Having a “plan B” that is also part of the plan helps to alleviate the guilt when you change plans. Often the feeling of failure stumps people’s desire to keep trying.

It wouldnt hurt you to fast for a day, but it’s often more difficult when you emotionally deny yourself. Dont allow resentment to enter into it. As for protein. While intermittent fasting, make the “meal” prior to your fasting period be high protein, such as a can of albacore tuna packed in water on a pita or whole grain crackers. I plan nutrients at certain times of day moreso than calories. Its working for me.

    Amen Sister!! Thanks for watching.

Thanks for watching. You just gave me the topic for my next video…fasting and metabolism. I’ll try to get up a video answer to your concern tomorrow. I think any amount of fasting is beneficial. Of course I would think that way, lol. :0)

What worries me is that fasting could seriously lower matabolisem!

But this is ovbiously working for you :-)

Do you think I would benifit from fasting one day a week? Plus if you dont get enough protein, then on a fast your body will burn muscle, and that is the biggest no no of all :)

  • hislivingsacrifice says:

    Yes, a life style!!!

Great truths revealed…A life style!! That is what it’s all about. Finding something that will be a lifestyle, not a diet.

Thanks! My family knows about my choice to fast. I try not to make a big deal about it around my kids because my daughter is only 9. My 18 year old Son says “whatever”, lol. My Hubby is very support and even fasts lunch as often as he can and has gone down 2 belt sizes. If you Husband knew the benefits of fasting for health reasons or read the free ebook by Dr. Herring, he might be more supportive. I’ve fasting for spiritual reasons and that’s what led me to fast for health reasons.

This way of eating is really effortless, once you get in the groove. No obsessing about points, calories or special foods. We get to eat the foods we enjoy with our loved ones. The best advice I can give is to remember flexibility is key. I emailed Dr. Herring this weekend and he said we can switch the window of eating times to our schedules. I’ll share his email response in a future video.

Great points….I think I could do intermittent fasting as a lifestyle too! It’s monday and I am pushing for 18 hours of fasting today. Started at 15 will be at 19 this week.

very interesting video. Its a life long deal. I have lost weight a number of times in my life and reached my ideal weight.
If i eat too much one day or for a certain meal, I tend to fast the next meal to some degree.
I call it a life long diet. I am content with the word DIET :)
Its ok, it saved my life.
Thanks for the great vids, you do a super job :)

We need to stay focused on our goals, and the best part about reaching them, is that we can share our experiences with others and divert some of the energy we’ve used to lose weight over to other areas in our lives.

  • hislivingsacrifice says:

Absolutely. You have such a great mind set, no wonder you are doing fabulous. So many people set their eyes on the prize, their weight loss goal and fail to think about future maintenance. ((hugs))

  • hislivingsacrifice says:

Jumping is part of the process, lol. I’ve jumped so many times it’s crazy. I finally landed on the lily pad that feels comfortable and is working. I love ya mama!!!

  • hislivingsacrifice says:

Hey beautiful. I am so thankful I found this way of eating. I am actually looking forward to weighing in tomorrow. How are you? Love ya!!
