That’s awesome. You won the mental battle over eating food just because it’s there & it looks good. It is easy to be tempted to break rules when you’ve lost a lot of weight, but you didn’t give in. Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you bought all of your Christmas presents yet?

Not posting. Went from 385 – 335 and just kinda got burned out. But the time of return is soon. And praise God in all the 3 months of slacking off I only gained one pound, that is a miracle.

Oh absolutely exciting to see this video of the party. It was SO nice. I love how wonderfully decorated it was…That “Catholic” girl you showed is a doll…tell her I’m sending my lovin to her. I serve those cupcakes for my wee one’s for their birthday parties…we are actually having them next Friday,,lol.

amen amen amen about the boundaries being set by God…with man it is impossible, but with God ALL things are possible.

A cupcake is about 2inches accross,it’s not that large a bridge to cross!!!!!!

I think sometimes you just gotta eat the cupcake,or one day the cupcake will eat you :) Jesus would have let you have a cupcake :)

Wow, you were sleepy. I had already watched this and you had commented to me (ha) — and you didn’t remember it. :o )

Bonnie90505…thank you so very much! Preparing ahead of time did help out. The thing is I imagined the cupcakes to look like those huge ones with tons of perfect icing and sprinkles and they ended up being the mini-bite sized ones. The size and kind is how I see God “making a way” for me not to be tempted. He knew I wanted the BIG kind.

RubberWilbur…that was a good video you sent me. I don’t think I’m gluten sensitive, just a food addict, lol. The Fast 5 and my faith help me to eat within parameters. The exercise daily is helping too. The same thing happens to me if I eat outside of my plan, then I want to keep eating. I must stay consistently on plan.

  • ilove2draw1 says:

    Great job.

  • Bonnie90505 says:

so proud of you! You have prepared ahead of time also, remember that , you did know ahead of time that you would be faced with treats…
your faith has really been by your side, good for you and thanks for sharing.

  • ThisIsMySockAccount says:

I KNEW you wouldnt give in!
Isn’t it awesome when you reach that point where you aren’t even INTERESTED in “goodies and treats”? :o )

  • FATMIME says:

Babes or food? Hmmm? Pass me a cupcake and a napkin! LOL. Love the video and I’m proud of you!

  • supergirlnancy1 says:

YES! 4 resisting temptation! i am so happy for u paula seriously ur awesome!

  • RubberWilbur says:

I have a diffferent philosophy then most people. When it comes to sweets, cakes, pies, pizza, unhealthy cereal, etc there is no such thing as moderation. I liken it to shooting up heroine. I’m found out that I’m allergic to gluten (wheat, pasta, etc). So always saying no makes it so much easier. Because if I get a little then I make an excuse to eat just one more and just eat another day.

  • gracerenewed says:

good for you for resisting temptation! Social situations are SO difficult to me.
