PostHeaderIcon What is the best meal replacement for weight loss that keeps you full and doesn’t taste horrible?

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

I am 5’4″ and 215 lbs. I need to find a meal replacement that is affordable and will help slim me down used in conjunction with diet and exercise. It is too hard to find healthy stuff to eat where I work and no way to pack lunches. I want a shake that I can use to stay full until dinner. Any help please?

I would also like it to have few sugars. Thanks in advance!

Eat yoghurt(diet) before the meals. Then you can eat apple, rye bread, grilled chicken, salad with very little Olive oil.you can have purslane and spinach.Cabbage soup will also help to loose weight. Also many vegetables like tomato, carrot, cucumber. And drink green tea before sleeping and before the breakfast.Prefer toasted bread. You can eat light cheese, too.

I like the oldie but goodie slim fast. I dont really like the chocolate or vanilla but the cappuccino is so good! It controls hunger for 4 hours.. If your not a fan of the tin can Special K also makes them but im not sure if they have cappuccino and it costs a little more. Im 5’4 and i was 180 and I have been on the slim fast diet for 8 weeks and lost 16 lbs (2lbs a week) It’s pretty good…

A shake with Skim milk, banana, strawberries (or other fruit) and some protein will provide you with energy and satisfy hunger cravings.

If you’re looking for other easy meals that will control your calorie intake, have you looked at something like nutrisystem? I saw recently they are offering 3 weeks free food.

Here is a link to the NutriSystem offer:

You’d be better off making your own meal replacement drink (shake) and packing it in a thermos.

Here’s what I put in my protein shake:

    3 cups water
    1/2 cup unsweetened soy milk
    2 scoops protein powder
    1 1/2 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa
    1/2 banana
    1 whole apple or pear
    1 unpeeled carrot
    2 tablespoons flax meal
    1 1/2 tablespoon brewer’s yeast

    Blend all the ingredients together.

The fruit will sweeten your shake without adding calories, and all the fiber will promote feelings of fullness.

My son’s doctor had recommended The Ensure shake to us for our son.. They are very healthy, and he said they DID full fill his hunger.

He said the vanilla flavored shake was great. I did try one and it was actually flavorful.
Check out this great site. This is a great weight loss program..
