Juice Fast for weight loss?

I am a 20 yr old female (college student) im looking to lose 25-30lbs…i want to begin a juice fast or detox diet on sunday 8/2. Does anyone have any ideas on what i can do? and how can i go about it? im looking to do a fast so i can begin eating healthy again..

hey, i’m also 20 and looking to lose about 25 pounds. i thought about a juice fast, but i’m trying the master cleanse instead for the whole 14 days to help with cravings. also, i’ve wanted to become a vegetarian for a while now, but my cravings are really bad. the master cleanse is supposed to help with that. anyways, i’m on my third day and i’ve already lost 7 pounds! your supposed to use 8 oz water, 1-2 T pure maple syrup (grade b is best), 2 T lemon juice, and 1/8 tsp of cayenne or red pepper. i can’t stand the way it tastes with the pepper added, so i don’t use it, however i got some capsules that i’m going to start adding in tomorrow. from what i’ve read and from what the pamphlet says, if you end the fast correctly and eat healthy you will continue to lose weight, or at least not gain it back. good luck!
I would save yourself the hunger pangs and just join weight watchers. They will give you all the tools and support you need to lose that extra 30 pounds, while learning healthy eating habits (where you can still eat things that you love), depending on your dedication you could probably have that 30 pounds gone by Christmas!
