Protein shakes vs meal Replacement shakes??? Can someone who is knowledgeable really hep me out?

Can someone really tell me the difference?? ANd also, if I get a protein shake that is the same calorie, fat, carb & protein content…what is the difference…beside meal replacement shakes have more nutrients..but can’t I just take more vitamins??? HELP!!
