What are some good ways to jump start my weight loss?

Im want to lose about 55 pounds. I’m currently about 225lbs 5’5″ and 19 years old. I have already cut out soda, what else can I do? What are good ways to stay on track? what happens if I cheat on day? Is a treadmill a good form of exercise? Should I exercise before or after I eat dinner? Please Help I really need all the help I can get.
Just follow these couple of steps
1. drink 8-10 glasses of water
2. eat fruits for breakfast
3. eat 6 smaller meals per day to speed up your metabolism
4. in these meals try to include catabolic foods, ill link you to a list, these foods burn calories and fat
5. walk 3 days a week for about an hour
6. eat dinner 4-5 hours before bed
7. eat slowly so u get full faster
listen all that diet bullshit is wrong. just walk alot be active. i myself eat over 3500 calories a day and i only way 145 and im 16
don’t eat 6 “small” meals. This doesn’t work for everyone. It drives me nuts when people list this as a “must do”. Try first consuming 3 meals a day. Start with a fresh breakfast- that involves a light cereal low on sugar and even better if it’s whole wheat. Like…cashi’s granola and nut cereal of special K. For lunch try having a soup whit maybe a slice of whole wheat bread? and for dinner try having grilled whatever. Meaning, grilled chicken (you can make whole wheat pasta with grilled chicken, grilled cesar salad, grilled chicken wrap…wrap it on lettuce though.) grilled fish (try to eat fish at least twice a week) grilled shrimp with a salad, grilled everything! try not to eat too many carbs at night- even better if you can avoid all carbs at night. Another great way to jump start may be for you to cut out carbs all together. Just read food labels and make sure you don’t consume more than 10-20 grams of carbs per day. Don’t drink any type of alcohol (you’d be surprised to see how many liquid calories are in there!) and try to do maybe 2 walks a day. Start out with one a day (maybe best before dinner) then after a week or two step it up to 2 walks a day. Just make sure to stay commited to your self and your plan. If you do give into temptation (which is absolutely normal!!) just make sure you go right back to your dieting rules. NEVER EVER EVER think “well, I already messed up today so I might as well continue to eat whatever I want today.” That will only set you back further. Good luck honey!
