I have lost 56 lbs since Feb. Now I have loose flab everywhere, but especially my upper arms. I walk a lot so my legs aren’t so bad. Does anyone have some suggestions for exercises that will help me tone up my upper arms–should I buy weights? Thanks.

Hey, good for you. I would guess that with extra weight gone, you’ll be more active and the arms will take care of themselves. You just relax and enjoy you good health.

to tone the flab under your arms, you can take a free weight (maybe 15 lb) and grab it with both hands, lift if over and behind your head. then just keep lifting it above your head (still keeping the weight behind you) do a couple sets of that. push ups are good too.

Congrats on the weight loss! That’s awesome.

If you want to tone your upper body, weights are always an option. You can do bicep curls, ticep extensions, bent over rows, military presses and flys to tighten up your muscles.
If you are just starting off, use a moderately heavy weight and do three sets of 10-12 reps. If those are too easy, adjust to a heavier weight.
If you prefer to work w/o weights, pushups are a great way to tighten your entire upper bod.
