I’m 5’1″ and 105 pounds. I’d like to be down to 100 pounds…No real time restraints. I haven’t really been feeling healthy lately. Also, I don’t really have the time to be exercising or dieting everyday. I’d appreciate any tips.

    Cut out something from your everyday food intake. I’m not saying diet, I’m saying look at something unhealthy you eat almost everyday, and take it out. Also, if you don’t drink it already, try switching to sugar free drinks.

    Excersize three times a week for half an hour each. I’ve heard that working out on an empty stomach is more effective. Also, just try eating healthy. It’s the best way to lost weight and keep it off.

    put everything you eat in little bags( see what your going to eat that day adn ONLY eat that) also try standing up a wok a lot even if yur just talking on the phone try to stand u most of the day. I hope you reach your goal!

    p.s. try not to eat out even if your too tired to cook yoursef a meal theres lots of alternatives like “smart ones” its a frozen dinner but it’s really good and health conscience.

    if you have a chance to stop by a place that serves those health smootie type things, and if you’re lucky and they have them grab a wheat grass shot they don’t taste really good but then again neither does vodka so do that and to be honest don’t be trying too hard to lose that weight it’s not that much weight and you don’t really weigh anough to be losing weight

    Lots of tips! I’m not overweight and I plan to keep it that way…
    drink lots of water (how old is that???), eat a half a grapefruit in the morning (just started it and it suppresses my appetite and wards away flus and colds). Never grocery shop when hungry. Buy healthy but tasty snax. Allow yourself one treat per day. Pick up the pace: Simply move faster. (this is my best tip; i move FAST)
    Avoid bread of any kind and milk. Buy your absolute favourite fruits. Drink whole fresh pomegranate juice.

    There isn’t an easy way, but I have joined a gym called Curves, its 30 minute workouts and they do work. I’m only small too and I’ve been there a few months, sometimes I miss a couple of weeks, but I lost 20cm off my body already, and about 9 pounds. Also, I have been on this diet for medical reasons, but if you eliminate animal products and eat wholemeal things eg pasta instead of white pasta, wholemeal bread, brown rice, sweet potato instead of regular potato, check the sugar content on the back of everything, I didn’t realise how much sugar is in stuff until you are told you have to check the sugar content, some stuff you eat is more than 50% sugar. Just watch what you eat. It doesn’t have to be boring. Use plenty of herbs and spices. Be creative. You can’t do this without effort, so you have to try.

    It helps to drink 8 glasses of eight ounces of water everyday.This keeps your body hydrated and fresh while flushing fat from your body.It’s also very good for your skin.Also,try to find time for aerobics or some cardio maybe on the weekends.I reccomend TAE BO for cardio and Denise Austin for aerobics.I had fun and you should to.I went from 118 to 110 in 2-3 months.Hope that helps!

    15 Ways to Cut 50 Calories or More
    A little here, a little there. Cutting calories is easier than you think! Think small! Trimming even just a small percentage of your body weight can do wonders for your health. And eating just a bit less is the way to do it. Shaving calories here and there is easier than you think. All it takes are a few no-sweat efforts like the ones that follow. Pick two a day and you’ll cut 100 calories. Burn 100 more calories a day (a 15- to 20-minute walk will do the trick) and you’ll lose almost half a pound a week. That may not sound like much, but it adds up to 20 pounds a year!

    1. Leave the cheese off your sandwich.
    2. Use 1 cup skim milk instead of 1 cup whole milk.
    3. Use a nonstick spray instead of 2 teaspoons oil.
    4. Drink seltzer or diet soda instead of regular soda.
    5. Have an English muffin instead of a doughnut
    6. Use 1 tablespoon light mayonnaise instead of 1 tablespoon regular mayo.
    7. Eat 2 tablespoons less ice cream.
    8. Drink 4 ounces less juice.
    9. Use 1 tablespoon less cream cheese.
    10. Order small fries instead of large fries.
    11. Use 1 tablespoon less salad dressing.
    12. Use one less pat of margarine
    13. Substitute 4 ounces ground turkey for 4 ounces ground beef.
    14. Have 1 ounce of pretzels instead of 1 ounce of potato chips.
    15. Substitute 1 tablespoon jam for 1 tablespoon butter.

    All the advice was good (except “troll”), especially “angel eve”. She points out you aren’t over-weight at all. But, if you want to lose weight in a non-drastic way, slowly cut down on your food intake!!! That, and regular exercise, is ALL there is to it.!!! In military basic training you get 3 NORMAL squares a day, and a lot of exercise. No fad diets – no fancy exercising. The result? The heavy guys slimmed down, and the skinny guys bulked up!! It took all of 3 – 4 weeks. But, again – “angel eve” should get your “best answer”.

    * reduce your salt intake
    * reduce your fat intake. it’s pretty easy. reduce your intake of margerine or butter, or cut it out altogether. dont use heaps of oil when cooking. if possible, steam things instead of frying them. if you eat eggs, poach or boil them, dont fry them. though eggs are high in cholesterol.
    * eat less meat.
    * eat less potatos and eat more greens.
    * eat less refined white bread- eat more wholemeal/multigrain breads.
    * instead of white rice, eat brown rice.
    * eat fruit as a snack. particularly apples, oranges, and grapes. they’re really low calorie.
    * eat more fibre-bran, prunes, psyllium etc.
    * instead of stor bought salad dressings (which are quite oily), use balsamic vinegar or some other type of vinegar.
    * have less dairy- cut down on your cheese intake, drink less milk or drink a lighter milk. dont drink much full cream milk. skim milk is good.
    * dont eat take-out much.
    * dont buy potato chips, lollies, chocolate etc
    * eat when you’re hungry
    * dont eat quickly. when you slow down your eating, you know when you are full. when you eat quickly, by the time you realise you are full, you’ve already eat way more.
    *drink tea (preferably without milk or much sugar)
    *drink diet soda instead of regular
    *drink water instead of juices/sodas when possible

    Since time is a constraint in your busy schedule, you may want to consider replacing your drinks with plain water. Add some slices of lemon or whole strawberries to get some funky taste. This will be healthier than soda or caffeine drinks.

    Next, half your carbohydrates such as French fries, whipped potatoes, baked potatoes, etc.

    And do not eat till you are full. Stop at 70% to 80% as you need to give your digestive system some time to digest and you will be full to the brim (just nice).

    This is just a simple start and you can do more later on.
