Get a pic of you now and photoshop it to make you thinner. Stick the before and after on the fridge. evrytime you wanna eat you will be reminded of your goal.

Personal trainers are GREAT motivation to lose weight. However, it is very costly. If you take weekly pictures of yourself though, you’ll start seeing a difference. As you start looking better, you’ll feel more and more motivated to reach your goal.

tell yourself “i’m ugly and fat and everyone thinks the same thing”

    get a gym membership.
they aren’t too expensive these days and load your ipod up with fast songs and you will be ready.
promise yourself that every other day after you work out, you’ll treat yourself to starbucks or ice cream. lol, it works.
if you have a boyfriend see if they want to come with you?

make a list of the top 15 reasons why you want to loose weight
    1.look better in clothes
    2.feel healthier
    etc…
and refer to it everyday or every time you feel unmotivated

  • im.a.BEACH.™ says:

look at pictures of over weight people
and think do i really want to let myself go like that or should I get into shape now while I am still capable of exercising on my own without someone holding me up because i am so fat

seriously i think about this everyday and it motivates me! even when people are being negative and saying i dont need to exercise it helps me get into the mood of exercising!

  • Alex says:

You need to set a goal and do it!! think positive, or maybe if you have a family then have your whole family do the plan to so ithey cant tempt you with the un healthier things they get to eat and you dont!!

you can do it sugar plum :]

  • Maria B says:

just force yourself to do it. if you make it into a habit it will be hard to break. for instance you could exercise for one hour a day every day no matter what. if you do this for about three weeks straight it will be harder for you to stop because you’re used to this routine. the hardest part about losing weight is starting the process so just motivate yourself. you’ll feel so much better once you start and commit to it. best of luck and happy new year!

  • Kaii says:

  • xo.leesha says:

    start eating healthier foods
have smaller meals, smaller bites & take your time eating
once you get in the routine in excercising
you’ll start to feel good about yourself
put on some good upbeat music you like
do sit ups & crunches in your room before going to bed
you can lose a few pounds in the first week or 2 by drinking more water, & drinking ice cold water will burn more calories cuz your body needs to heat it & absorb it properly.

if you ever get in hyper moods & your at home
do an exercise workout .. that always gets me goin :)

  • Kattie says:

    Stick to a personal trainer
believe me they are going to make you loose weight immediately
Yes it would take time and lots of effort, but it is worth it!
Remember that doing exercise not only makes you loose weight, but it also keeps you healthy.
    GOOD LUCK!!

I understand. For me I found out I was diabetic & still couldn’t get motivated b/c of the people around me. If I had it to do over again I wish I would have lied to everyone before I became diabetic & told them my sugar level was high & that to prevent diabetes I need to follow a certain diet. My way of eating is that I eat small meals like I might have sunflower seeds & an apple for breakfast, I have been told to put tofu in my salad that I eat at lunch to have more protein. but haven’t done that yet. Once you are eating so often you actually lose weight because you never crave junk. So I used to eat a healthy snack at about 10 am & 3 Pm then lunch at noon & dinner about 5…I would eat a low carb yogurt & even freeze it when I needed it to replace ice cream. If you have this at night it keeps your blood sugar in a better state throughout the night & the calcium helps you get a good night sleep…..It took me years & many different things to learn. I have a friend who I went to for sympathy once. My husband brought home a huge Reese’s peanut butter cups he bought from a boy scout. I went off a diet I had been on for months. My friend said “OH, he (my husband) made you eat that candy”. her point was that they can’t do it for or against you, only you can change. How would you feel if you gave up on dieting & at some point they all decided to diet? You would probably get mad but if you saw them eathing healty & exercising it would make you see that all along you could have done the same thing. So you just have to make up your mind as to what you are going to do. I really recommend you have a schedule & stick to it. Ask any diabetic how they stay on their diet & they will tell you eating at the same time really helps. You will get into a habit. Keep asking this question. Keeping looking for differnet ways to do this. Go to all the diet sites & get as much from everyone as you can. The more prepared you are the better your chances. There is a whole lot of info. I need to look into myself. My friend brought me a tray of cookies. Her husband is a diabetic too. I kid about her trying to kill us but I did eat all the cookies & candies. So I have eaten better since them so I know I just have to keep trying.
