I would substitute a meal with an acai drink. Eat only fruits and veggies during the day (snack on them to loose weight) and eat some lean protein for dinner (e.g: chicken or turkey). This is just a quick weight loss diet I made for myself and lost a lot of weight. Don’t forget to do cardio workouts and tone your muscles!
Weight loss pills aren’t effective or healthy for anyone!
People who take weight loss pills are lazy and delusional.
Don’t kid yourself. You have to eat right and exercise if you want to lose weight. Yes its harder than taking a pill and sitting on the couch eating junk! But hey, it also works.
Acai berries are a relatively newly discovered berry that has some healthy characteristics. The acai berry is really high in anti-oxidants and really helps people loose weight . There are lots of health advantages to acai berries, but they must be frozen right after harvest to make sure they retain thier potency. One of the most populat brands of acai suppliments is acai berry power 500. Many talk show hosts have done profiles on the health benefits of acai. http://www.findacaiberry.com
Hello, sweettarts1294. I think it is important to understand something about acai berries – it is just a fruit. Sure, it has a high amount of antioxidants, but a quick trip to the acai page on wikipedia will show you that it is not even the top in that region, either. For the most part, it is a scam in the sense of the companies making money off of false pretenses. Sure, you will hear about people losing weight eating/taking a lot of acai, but let me ask you a serious question.. would the result have been different if it was a lot of a different fruit? Personally, I don’t think so.
If you understand all of this and still want to have some acai, then approach it as any other fruit and enjoy yourself. However, I would stay away from the “free trials” being thrown around. You are almost guaranteed to get burned here, there are a lot of reports of people being charged for extra shipments they didn’t ask for. I don’t think your parents would appreciate this..
I don’t think it is very productive to just shoot down someones question and leave them just as lost as before however, so I’d like to recommend some reading on a diet called calorie shifting. I have heard good things about it, but I’ll drop a link below and let you decide for yourself.
While I think you are a bit young to be worrying over it, I hope that whichever path you end up taking that you do lose your unwanted weight.
