If you are wondering how to start dieting, you are not alone. You might have experienced something similar to me. I found myself motivated to get in shape, but I had tried before over the years. I started asking myself how can I make this time different that it will really work. I asked myself how to start a diet. In the past I went and found the new fad diet and jumped in and it worked for awhile, but soon I stopped. So this time around I decided to stop looking at the fad diets and look for one that I thought would work for me and that I could follow. Once I found one that worked for my and my schedule and one I liked, things really turned around for me and I was able to stay on the diet and have the pounds drop off.
Here are my two tips to how to start a diet:
Find a diet that will work for you, not the latest fad diet that some celebrity tried. I looked for one that had food I liked and a meal plan that I could follow. I also wanted one I could start right away with online trackers and meal planners. I found an online diet that I could start right away and had the tools I wanted. Plan how you will start to exercise. I started walking and soon moved to jogging. It was not fun in the beginning and was really hard to stick with it. But after a couple weeks I really started to enjoy my exercise. As I improved and was able to run faster and longer, it really was a big motivator for me.

It is not easy to take on a new challenge and reach your weight-loss goals, but it can be done. Determination and consistency are the most essential qualities needed to be successful.
