Are Organic Food Worth Your Money?
Irvine Personal Trainer give tips on what type of Oraganic Food you should consider buying from the Grocery Stores.
Hi there,
Today health tips of the day is Organic food. In order to be qualify for being an organic food, “crops must be produced without conventional pesticides (including herbicides), synthetic fertilizers, sewage sludge, bioengineering, or ionizing radiation. Organically raised animals mustbe given organic feed and kept free of growth hormones and antibiotics. Organic farm animals must have access to the outdoors, including pastureland for grazing (Webmd.com).
Buy these Organic Fruits and Vegetables if you’re planning to go organic:
Apples, bell peppers, celery, cherries, imported grapes, nectarines, peaches, pears, potatoes, red raspberries, spinach, strawberries (LHJ.com).
And it okay to buy these food Nonorganic Fruits and Vegetables:
Asparagus, Avocado, bananas, broccoli, cauliflower, corn (sweet), kiwi, mangoes, onions (LHJ.com).
For health reason if you can afford to, Organic Food is the way to go.
