Last Sunday night, I was hit with a sudden urge to pee. I went and peed normally, but the feeling was still there. As Monday progressed, it got worse and worse. I felt like I had to pee constantly! I took some AZO then and went to the clinic on Wednesday. My sample didn’t show a UTI, so it’s not that. My Dr. suggested cystitis, but I have no pain, just urgency. I don’t think it’s diabetes because I’m not constanly thirsty or tired and no weight loss. I was given antibiotics “just in case” and an analgesic, but it’s not helping at all. This feeling of having to pee is driving me crazy! I’ve been drinking water and grape juice and some cranberry, but no relief. The only other symptom I have is a bit of an ache on my right side. Can somebody PLEASE help me?!?!?
Keep talking to your doctor and you will eventually get to the root of the problem. Meanwhile, even if it sounds a bit crazy, I keep finding that I can at least partially solve my health problems with exercise. If you can handle it, try taking long walks and see if it helps.
You may have what they call an overactive Bladder (OAB). Overactive Bladder symptoms include:
Leaks and wetting accidents
Strong, sudden urges to go to the bathroom
Frequent urination (more than 8 trips to the bathroom
in a 24-hour period)
There are a lot of conditions that could cause this urgency to urinate, even pregnancy! Just visit your doctor as many times as it takes. Make him find the reason.
I wish you luck!
